Expectations
What is expected of you, your learning partners and the selfdriven team as a pilot participants.
Expectations
1
The selfdriven App is new, and as with everything that is new you may find issues (e.g. software "bugs".
In the early days this is expected, which why we are running the pilot with participants like you to help find issues.
Obviously as we run more pilots the likelihood of finding a software bug will reduce and then the focus is on useability and improvements.
2
You use the app as instructed by your learning partner - i.e. to run a PBL project.
3
As part of pilot your data will be shared with select members of the selfdriven Support Team (as agreed to by your learning partners) to help with resolving any issues and reviewing the pilot.
Getting Started
1
Your learning community learning partners will issue you with a logon and password.
You can then use the Getting Started Guide to step through logging on and using the App.
Feedback
1
We love feedback, it makes everything better.
So please share everything you find or anything you think could be done better.
We can handle it ;-)
Outcomes
There are a number of outcomes for you and your learning community;
1
Learning growth for you, in that you get to gain skills on what it takes to build an app and also introduce something new to a community.
2
In addition to the skills gained by doing say the PBL project, you will also be recognised with the selfdriven Pilot Participation skill at one of the 4 capacities; Aware, Capable, Knowledgeable & Natural.
Skills are allocated by your learning partner, based on on how engaged you were during the pilot.
3
If you receive the selfdriven Pilot Participation skills at the Knowledgeable or Natural capacity, you have the option to:
- Become an Octet, as part of the selfdriven OctoCrew within your community - which will earn you more skills.
